About Me

Sheena Klimoski
In my youth I highly enjoyed scribbling over the books given to me. Cinderella, Snow White, and Peter Pan all ended up in the attic within a week’s time due to the chaos created in them with something as simple as a ballpoint pen. I lived in a healthy, dual-cultured household consisting of my two supportive parents and two brothers. My Polish and Hispanic backgrounds led to some rather entertaining family gatherings, where the language barrier seemed to be as impenetrable as the Berlin Wall. The first in my family to venture into the visual arts, I mastered art basics while very young and attended New World School of the Arts, a rigorous academics and arts high school. In 2006 I participated in a study abroad program to Aix en Province, France. The following summer I was chosen to attend the Marie Walsh Sharpe program, then the Young ARTS Competition, and then Presidential Scholar finalist. I now attend Art Center College of Design.
